We are delighted to announce that Ross is joining Ildi and Edwin as part of our coaching team, and will be helping to deliver both our junior and senior coaching programs as well introducing a few new initiatives – watch out for details. Ross has already been down to our Club a couple of times, so some of you have already met him! For those of you who haven’t met him yet, here he is:
Ross is a Level 3 LTA licensed coach and has spent over ten years coaching around Hackney, including schools and private clients. His experience and strong personality eventually landed him the role of Tennis Development Officer at The Olympic Park, where The Tennis Foundation trained him to coach children and adults with different physical and mental disabilities, including blind tennis and wheelchair tennis.
His unrivalled passion for the game has seen him coach players aged 3 to 80, transforming novices into accomplished players. Not only is tennis physically demanding, but it also combines mental strength and technical ability. Ross has developed a strong structure of coaching, that encompasses all aspects of the game, designed to get the very best out of every individual.
We are also delighted to announce that Edwin has now completed and passed his level 3 tennis coaching course. Well done Edwin!
