Hi. I am sadly writing an obituary for my late friend John Mcpherson who was a member at Drummond back in the 1960’s and ’70s. Wondering if you can tell me whether John was ever your club champion, please?
Dear Bill, i’m so sorry but have only just seen your message. With lockdown meaning no tennis, i haven’t been monitoring he website as diligently as perhaps i should have been. I dont have an answer for you but will ask around now. Best wishes, David
Dear Bill, i have asked some of our senior members who played at the club back in the 60s & 70s and I’m afraid have drawn a blank. We have also checked our Membership records from 1965-1972. Its been suggested to me that you might be referring to the Drummond Tennis Club in Edinburgh rather than ourselves, Drummond LTC, who are based in London. Kind regards, David
