On a beautiful afternoon and some lovely tennis, its congratulations to Tom, Tina & Phil, and Anurag & Shameel:
Mens Singles – Tom defeated Riyaz.
Mixed Doubles – Tina & Phil defeated Kate & Andy.
Mens Doubles – Anurag & Shameel defeated Edwin & Riyaz.
Trophies were also awarded to Helen (Ladies Singles) and Lucy & Tina (Ladies Doubles) which had already been decided.
Big thanks to our 3 umpires, Aravin, Darren & John B for braving the wobbly umpires chair, and big thanks to our wonderful social committee for providing light refreshments, and finally a big thanks to Tom & Alexina for organising and running the tournament so smoothly.
And of course it wouldn’t be the same without all the members who came along to cheer the players on!
