After a beautiful afternoon, and some lovely tennis, the outcome of the 2017 Vets finals were as follows:
LADIES DOUBLES: Debbie Hobbins & Joan Thomas def. Jo Perrett & Julie Williams
MENS DOUBLES: Paul Gerken & Phil Delahunty def. Andy Sayers & Peter Rains
MIXED DOUBLES: Joan Thomas & Paul Mussett def. Martine Welsman & Phil Delahunty
Congratulations to all the winners and a big thanks to all the players who entered this year’s tournaments.
Also thanks to everyone who came along to support the players & to our umpires - David, Eddie & Debbie - for keeping the players under control!
More thanks to our marvellous social committee, especially Theresa, for some delicious home-made scones & cakes.
