New tennis coach Ildi has joined Luis and Chris as part of Drummond’s tennis coach team. Ildi is running new sessions for adults and children as follows:
Sunday sessions for adults have began and for anyone interested, there are still places available for the rest of the course. The Intermediates sessions run from 9:30-10:30am and the Beginners sessions from 10:30-12:00noon. The intermediate sessions are shorter than our usual adult courses, so as to allow those attending to try out their new skills in our Sunday social play which follows immediately afterwards.
For those of you who are around during the week, there are also new pay as you go sessions. These are on Wednesdays, and will combine coaching and organised social play. These are aimed at both beginners and established tennis players, and we welcome both non-members and members.
These sessions will run 9:30-11:30am every Wednesday, and will operate on a pay as you go basis, at £8 per session. The first session however will be FREE, to encourage you to come along and give it a try.
Following straight on from this, Ildi will also be running LittleSTARs tennis sessions. These are 30 minutes sessions for children aged 3-5 years old, and will run every Wednesday from 11:30-12:00 noon, on a pay as you go basis, at £4 per session. Again, the first session will be FREE, to encourage you to come along and sample the session.
